Position Summary
The Implementation Director will be responsible for the development, implementation and integration of innovative implementation solutions including methods, techniques, tools, and training to boost company utilization at both a customer level and at an individual buyer level. The Implementation Director will work closely with the Business Development and Account Operations teams including participating in the sales cycle. The primary focus of the position will be to manage the delivery of various implementation services such as pilot programs, reawakening programs (accounts that have gone quiet), and coordinating as well as conducting (as required) onsite workshops, training sessions and various forums. They will work with multiple accounts at the same time. The Implementation Director will also be responsible for contributing to thought leadership on behalf of the company.
Responsibilities include:
Mobilize end users in order to increase utilization of the FedBid Marketplace
Shape, plan, organize, manage and control delivery of implementation services to customers including the understanding and use of various project management, delivery tools and implementation methodologies
Facilitate workshops, training sessions and various user forums
Effectively manage and enhance customer relationships
Design, develop and build strategic implementation programs to accommodate corporate goals.
Actively engage with the core team and key stakeholders to continuously improve and optimize the implementation offering
Engage partners, sales channels and alliances as appropriate to generate increased volume on FedBid marketplace
Establish strong relationships with other internal stakeholders
Confer with leadership to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals and objectives resulting from current status and conditions
Build and sustain the talent needed within the team to execute on defined goals and objectives
Participate in regional conferences and industry events to support FedBid messaging and marketing goals
Contribute to the development of white papers, points of view and implementation methodologies and other marketing efforts that promote the FedBid marketplace.
Qualifications:
BA/BS required with preference for focus in supply chain management, process improvement, and/or organizational behavior
MBA or other graduate degree preferred
Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, APICS beneficial
8-10 years experience in solution implementation services, software services or management consulting.
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Proficient with reverse auction solutions
Knowledge of eProcurement solutions
Strong Facilitation Skills
