Implementation Engineer Empirix
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We seek talented engineers for multiple openings for Implementation Engineers who perform a post-sales, customer-contact role to deliver the implementation and configuration of Empirix Service Assurance solutions into mobile (3G/4G), MSO, and fixed carrier networks.

With 300 employees worldwide, Empirix is growing revenue at double digit rates and has achieved market leadership in Service Assurance technologies for next generation IP communications.
Implementation Engineers are responsible for the deployment of Empirix Service Assurance solutions into mobile carrier networks and VoIP service providers. The Implementation Engineer owns the project from the time that the sales order is entered by the Empirix Customer Care team to completion of the acceptance test plan (ATP). Implementation Engineers work collaboratively with customers to meet contractual obligations in a professional services role and set and manage customer expectations to ensure that product deployments are successfully completed on time and meet technical, business and operational expectations.
The Implementation Engineer initiates activity by conducting a thorough review of the sales order created by the Empirix Sales Account team, validating the purchased configurations andsite requirements, and network infrastructure with the customer. The Engineer utilizes this information and their engagements with the customer to develop a project implementation plan and Statement of Work (SOW) to ensure a successful deployment. The Engineer is the key Empirix resource responsible for implementing and provisioning the system. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Engineer monitors and drives to established implementation milestones, and participates in client status calls to ensure that projects remain on schedule. The Engineer completes the engagement by verifying the completion of ATP and finalizes projects with customer acceptance.
Hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration and monitoring of carrier-grade equipment.
Expert-level knowledge of VOIP architectures and protocols (SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248)
Expert-level knowledge of Mobile Circuit Switch / SS7 Core protocols (ISUP, MAP, CAMEL)
Expert-level knowledge of Mobile Broadband protocols (user plane and data plane
Expert-level knowledge of TDM networking (T1/ISDN/SS7, etc.)
Working-level knowledge of video and adaptive streaming protocols
Proficient in Linux/Unix
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Experience with QA procedures, Interoperability testing
Experience in dealing with with multiple simultaneous priorities
Self-directed, self-motivated, professional services traits - excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record in expanding knowledge of networks and network architectures.
BS degree in CS, CE, Telecommunications
