Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or equivalent work experience
1-3 years experience in implementation or project management, preferably in healthcare environment
PMP certification a plus
MediConnect Global, an Affiliate of Verisk Health, is looking for an implementation manager in its South Jordan office. The Implementation Manager will be required to manage various client implementations that range in scope. Implementation Managers are responsible for detailed implementation documentation and may work closely with Operations, Account Management, R&D, Sales and other business departments, reporting to the Director of Implementation Management. They ensure client implementation is on time, within scope, and on budget.
Coordinate and facilitate all phases of the client implementation lifecycle.
Ensure development and implementation conforms to MediConnect standards and implementation management policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret business requirements into technical specifications.
Manage several client based implementations at one time under the general direction of implementation management leadership.
Ability to lead technical and non-technical teams.
Develops the overall implementation plan and schedule, including:
Requirements gathering, strategic planning, and phased execution
Project estimates and prioritizing
Identification of tasks and deliverables
Resource management and skill set assessments
Monitoring and reporting
Work closely with various departments in determining accurate estimates for the detailed integration
Ability to identify and report on risks, issues, constraints, and change control, with the ability to re-align work assignments and revise schedules as needed.
Ability to effectively communicate with other employees and customers at all organizational levels.
Manage implementations to their identified cost, schedule, and performance levels
Assist R&D with detail design documents and/or technical specifications.
Conduct statistical analysis and reporting
Capable of breaking problems into component parts and addressing each individual issue in order to develop an appropriate and thorough solution.
Read and interpret documents (i.e., government rules and regulation, process and technical specifications, etc.)
Ability to understand technical functionality and documentation and produce non- technical documentation.
Work independently or in a team setting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment with minimum supervision
Assist any department when necessary
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
