Implementation Project Manager WideOrbit

Job Description:

The broadcasting world moves quickly and when a station wants to implement our products, it needs a team that can help the station get organized, install the new system, and train the staff on how to use it, leaving the station in better shape than when they arrived. WideOrbit is looking for an Implementation Project Manager to lead and execute large implementation projects. WideOrbit?s success is highly dependent on the Implementation successes at our client sites.
Responsibilities:

Leads planning and execution of large implementation projects
Identifies resource needs and works with department managers to identify qualified individuals.
Manages project team members during execution of the project.
Identifies Client Project Team members and responsibilities
Identifies and communicates delivery timelines and milestones through Project Plans to all necessary department

- Works with WideOrbit Department Managers, WideOrbit Project Team, and Client Project Team to ensure
on-time deliverables, including delivery of General Acceptance software
- Monitors and modifies Project Plans as necessary and communicates changes to WideOrbit and Client
Project Teams

Identifies changes in resource or budget resulting from Project Plan modifications Communicates internally
Facilitates team and client meetings
Holds regular status meetings with project team and Implementation Director
Escalates any concerns or risks to Director of Implementation
Manages client relationship and communication
Conducts regular status meetings with client team

- Provides clients with progress reports and other reports

- Ensures project documents are complete and current

Skills/Qualifications

Ability to understand a client's business and goals for the project
Ability to quickly grasp business workflow and processes
Media industry experience
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to lead a team
Knowledge of WideOrbit software products
Knowledge of WideOrbit processes
Ability to build and maintain collaborative client relationships
Travel as necessary up to 50%
