Implementation Specialist Billtrust

The Billtrust Implementation/Configuration Specialist is responsible for configuring our proprietary CompleteBilling System based on analysis documents and client requirements as communicate by our project team. Configuring involves mapping data elements from billing files (csv, XML, EDI and spool files) into system properties as well as writing scripts using Python to manage data. Additional GUI tools are used to customize code, fix a system defect and update the system per change orders. Implementation/Configuration Specialists are responsible for testing the code and debugging issues/defect prior to the code being moved to QA and ultimately production. A Bachelor?s degree in computer science, math or equivalent work experience in an analytical area is required, along with the ability to interpret and understand conditional statements (i.e., If/Then/Else) and apply basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys). The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of and ability to write basic SQL queries and experience with Python or other scripting language with keen attention to detail.
