Description: The Billtrust Implementation Team is a group of technical resources who perform system configuration, data mapping, scripting and quality assurance on work assigned to them by our client facing teams. The ITM?s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the Team in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual will plan, coordinate and direct configuration-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the Team. The ITM will work closely with Project Management Team Leads and Customer Support Team Leads to plan, schedule, deliver and track the quality of work being delivered by the Team.
The ITM will oversee a group of technical resources in two locations, manage the Team?s members in each group and work closely with local Business Leads to ensure thorough and clear requirements are being delivered to the Team ? and similarly ? ensure that high quality output which meets the requested business needs are being delivered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage daily flow of work/projects through the Team with focus on quality of output and on-time delivery. Requires ability to prioritize work and shuffle resources to meet business needs.
? Collaborate with Business Leads to develop and roll-out processes that ensure project plans are jointly developed and agreed to and that project requirements are clearly communicated and tracked.
? Leverage existing tools (Clarizen/Parature) to streamline project tracking and communication with key stakeholders.
? Partner with development team to enhance our existing suite of configuration tools to drive quality and efficiency.
? Work closely with our QA department to measure, track, report and act on quality delivery metrics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly manages Team staff and carry out management and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
Education: ? Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other Engineering or technical discipline.
Experience:Demonstrated experience as a Manager of a technical team with at least 5 years of practical experience in the field.
Ability to effectively plan, monitor and control multiple projects among several resource and reassign work as needed to meet committed delivery dates.
Hands-on capabilities supporting a fast paced, rapidly expanding technology or software services firm, strongly preferred.
Experience working with PSA or resource planning software.
