Job Description
The Implementations Project Manager will manage complex projects for Solution Services team within Aperio Operations. This highly motivated person will be capable of supporting the sales initiatives by developing scoping projects, project plans and obtaining the appropriate resources for multiple pre sales activities. Additionally this person will also be the project manager to oversee complex implementations of the Aperio solutions after the sale.
The Implementations Project Manager is someone who can:
--Develop and manage implementation projects for key accounts
--Work with Sales to scope projects and develop plans for implementing solutions
--Keep timely and accurate project schedules
--Oversee all required implementation activities; installations of ScanScope slide scanner hardware, configuration of eSlide Manager, coordinate Professional Services and Training requirements.
--Collaborate with the Solution Services team and customer to coordinate resource requirements
--Work with Management to ensure all projects are on time and within budget
Required Skills:
--Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure (preferably within a healthcare or life science environment)
--Prior experience developing and executing large scale project plans
--Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment in cross-functional teams, contribute solutions, and remain flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment
--Well organized, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills
--Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
Desired Skills:
--Customer-focused, experienced project manager with deep understanding of clinical laboratory workflow
Required Experience:
--BS degree in a related discipline
--PMP or 5 years of equivalent Project Management experience
% of Travel: Up to 50%
