Freescale has a number of opportunities for Industrial Engineers. As an Industrial Engineer you will evaluate opportunities to improve factory simulation and optimize performance forecasting and capacity analysis. You will collaborate with the manufacturing and process teams to improve overall factory efficiencies. You will study the product specifications and then use mathematical models to design systems and methods that will help the business meet their production goals.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research. Degrees in Computer Science/Computer Systems Engineering, Applied Sciences (Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science) or Mathematics may also be considered with GPA of 3.25 or above
Experience with application of structured problem solving methodologies preferred
Strong analytical and creative thinking skills for effective decision-making
Strong data analysis skills ? to include working knowledge of statistics, SPC, ANOVA, comparative methods, and Design of Experiments
Previous experience or internship in a manufacturing environment
