THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As Industry Solutions Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and delivery of vertical market sales enablement programs. Your programs will demonstrate to potential customers our understanding of their business need and how our products can address their current challenges. You will be looked upon as one of our key internal subject matter experts in these industry segments. As a channel based organization, our success in incumbent upon the success of our go-to-market partners. Therefore, it is vitally important that the Industry Solutions Marketing Manager both collaborate and deliver effective sales support materials and programs to our channel partners which will accelerate their understanding and successful sell-through of our products.
Currently, we are looking for seasoned vertical industry marketing managers in Healthcare, Financial Services, Insurance and Government. Other industry segment experience is a plus.
This individual must stay abreast of trends in our targeted markets and collaborate with Product Management for necessary adjustments to our product roadmap to adapt to these opportunities. The candidate will bring to our company a strong history of Product Marketing experience in enterprise B-to-B software offerings, specifically in the Business Process Automation, Enterprise Content Management, Document Capture, Enterprise Resource Planning or similar segments.
This individual contributor must possess a strong background in matrix management and will interact daily with the Sales, Business Development and Marketing team members as well as key managers and contributors alike in North America, South America and Europe. Key to success for this position is an individual who can properly balance corporate strategy and priority with tactical delivery.
Market research and analysis: Lead all primary and secondary market research for our key market segments. Identify trends and opportunities within the Company?s targeted segments and drive recommendation and market requirements back into the organization. You?ll be looked upon to develop new ideas based on market analysis and empirical information.
Commercial readiness and success: Oversee and lead all sales enablement efforts for vertical market programs. This includes coordinating demand generation and education programs with our regional marketing and sales teams as well as those of our channel partners. Collaborate with Product Marketing and Regional Marketing to ensure a cohesive internal launch readiness program is also accomplished.
Internal Subject Matter Expert: Your market knowledge and understanding of industry segment trends will be critical and highly sought after from various internal audiences.
Thought Leader and Communicator: Your deliverables will be voice of our company. As a result, you must be an extremely articulate communicator ? both written and verbal.
Represent Notable Solutions at industry and customer speaking engagements.
Contribute or lead press and analyst briefings.
Manage relationships with key channel marketing counterparts
University degree (MBA preferred) with studies in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience.
At least 3-5 years of previous product marketing experience in Enterprise B-to-B software market
Has managed at least five vertical market sales enablement programs, including defining program definition, materials development and execution
Demonstrated experience in establishing product positioning and unique selling propositions
Sales tools: An understanding of what sales tools are needed to support a product and how to get them done
Strong vertical market knowledge in at least two of our defined targeted markets
Demonstrated international product launch experience
Strong communication skills ? both written and verbal
Strong finance skills including determining product price, ASP analysis, and more
Successfully has worked with internal groups such as sales, finance, marcomm, etc. to support success product launches
Fluent in English
Previous Product Marketing experience with SaaS or subscription delivered solutions and/or ?middleware? solutions
Experience working with trade and industry analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.
Previous Product Marketing for an enterprise class product in any of the following markets: Content Management, Document Capture, Business Process Automation, Enterprise Resource Planning, Output Management or Enterprise Mobile applications
Strong technology knowledge: We need a leader that can understand technology and adapt it to market need
Previous experience working within any of our targeted markets as a line of business manager
German, Spanish, French or Portuguese language skills
Solid software marketing experience: At least three years of software Product Marketing experience with at least two of those years focused on vertical marketing efforts. Candidates with demonstrated business process automation or document capture experience greatly preferred. Previous experience as a line of business manager within one of our key industry segments is a plus.
Previously performed the function of a product marketing manager or industry analyst within a software publisher.
Effective communicator, positive attitude, possesses the desire to help people learn.
