Informatics Scientist, Translational Medicine
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Informatics Scientist to analyze Next Gen Sequencing data (e.g., RNA-seq, exome sequencing) from preclinical and clinical studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in two of the following areas: statistics, computer science, biology. The candidate must have the ability to analyze large complex data sets and have experience with currently available computational tools for the analysis of NGS data. The candidate will be a creative data analyst who will help to define biomarker strategies for OncoMeds development pipeline. We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to work in a fast past environment.
Requirements:
A PhD in computational biology, genomics, or a related field. Knowledge of oncology pathways is desirable.
Proficient programming skills is a must.
Strong background in statistics is desirable.
Experience with next generation sequencing technologies and analysis methods / algorithms is a must.
