Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinates and participates in all 3rd party external audit exercises including but not limited to control validation and remediation, penetration testing, asset management and configuration management
Researches & develops all aspects of information security with responsibility to assess & mitigate system security threat/risk throughout application deployment and maintenance lifecycle
Defines and validates system security requirements. Implements secure systems/standards
Responds to all client and vendor security questionnaires and inquiries
Reviews all system events and alerts, application events and alerts, firewall and other network component events and alerts and maintains
Participates in the development of a disaster recovery & business continuity plan for company.
Provides information to management regarding all controls
Considered technical expert with ability to solve complex problems & establish innovative solutions.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Minimum of 5 years' experience in these areas: Log Management, Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Virtual Machine Security (Citrix, others) ,Security Architecture, Policies & Standards, Risk Management, Incident Handling and Response, Information Classification
Intermediate to expert firewall knowledge
Intermediate to expert IDS/IPS knowledge
Intermediate to expert virus protection & content filtering knowledge
Intermediate to expert security policy knowledge
Understanding of business practice and intellectual property
Understanding of information management and data classification
Investigations of security incidents
Security strategy
Risk assessments
Policy development/enforcement
Audits
Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt
