Responsibilities include:Responsible for daily monitoring and deployment of Security Information Monitoring to support security event correlations
Works closely with business units to identify security requirements, using methods that may include risk and business impact assessments
Assists in the coordination and completion of information security operations documentation
Assist in the development of security processes and procedures
Work with information security leadership to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks
Reports to information security leadership concerning residual risk, vulnerabilities, and other security exposures, including misuse of information assets and noncompliance
Collaborates on critical IT projects to ensure that security issues are addressed throughout the project lifecycle
Works with the IT team to identify, select, and implement technical controls
Researches, evaluates, and recommends information security related hardware and software
Qualifications include:
Bachelor?s Degree in related field
Minimum of two (2) years? experience with information security
Knowledge and understanding of information risks, concepts and principles
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and technologies
Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and a wide range of security technologies such as network security appliances, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance tools, and desktop security tools.
Willing to learn Information Security Standards and best practices including: FISMA, PCI, ISO 27001 and OWASP
Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, associated network protocols and concepts
