Information Security Compliance Analyst Proofpoint

We are seeking a Information Security Compliance Analyst to join our growing Operations team to lead the FISMA/FedRAMP compliance effort for Proofpoint. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring established key security controls are communicated, understood, implemented, and tested as appropriate.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in SSAE and ISO 27001 compliance efforts
Participate in sales support efforts such as customer security assessments and audits
Performs security reviews, evaluations, risk assessments, and monitoring on a regular basis to ensure security exceptions and violations are identified and addressed in a timely manner
Recommend security controls that preserve of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems
Track issues and action items, provide periodic status updates, track changes to applicable schedules for assigned compliance efforts
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher preferably in a technical area
Must either have at least 5 years of experience in IT Risk Management, Compliance and Audit
Prefer at least 1 year of FISMA experience
Prefer at least 1 year ISO 27001 experience in the initial development phase of the program
Experience performing security assessments
Strong documentation skills
Must have strong knowledge information security controls
Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, wireless, IDS, and systems security fundamentals/best practices. Prefer experience with large data center environments
Program/project management skills preferred
Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Must be highly organized, self-motivated and accountable
Prefer some standard security industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, PMP, etc.)
