Job Description :
The SAVO group, the leading provider of Sales Enablement solutions, is looking for smart, motivated, tech-savvy Project Managers to support the development of SAVO?s Sales Enablement platform. The Information Technology Project Manager plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional information technology projects to deliver specific measured results to the customer. Candidates must be eager to be part of a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company and demonstrate a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Experience in managing highly technical infrastructure projects like datacenter migrations, hardware build-outs, virtualized infrastructure, database scaling, etc.
Experience managing resources in projects against work they are also doing in ticketing systems and SLA driven activities.
Develops project plans, goals, and budgets; identifies resources needed, develops schedules and methods for measuring results
Facilitate all necessary team meetings (Iteration planning, daily Scrum standups, Iteration reviews/retrospectives, etc.).
Facilitating core team discussions, and cross-functional design and status meetings
Responsible for raising awareness of blocking issues for the feature teams and removing impediments to team progress.
Acts as a Change Manager evaluating and documenting changes to scope, resources or schedule that affect project timeline and deliverables.
Manage several projects and releases simultaneously
Maintains reporting and dashboards showing progress of the projects and release including gathering/reporting all relevant Agile metrics (i.e. burndown charts, Team velocity, etc.)
Ensuring that stakeholders are kept fully-informed of project status and progress
Ancillary assistance with enablement of Agile principles & practices across teams as needed
Ensures proper signoffs achieved at each stage in the project development and delivery cycle
Acts as a gatekeeper to the overall PDLC to ensure adherence to the process by feature teams
Works closely with the development and QA managers to ensure consistent understanding and awareness
Organizes and manages all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
Other responsibilities as required by the business
Job Requirements :
Experience in Agile development processes
Experience with Team Foundation Server preferred but not required
Strong communication skills including the ability to tailor the delivery of complicated information to all organizational levels and professional backgrounds
Proven ability to build rapport and establish credibility and trust
Experience working with distributed and/or off-shore development and testing teams
Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques
Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment
Skill in planning and preparing written communication
Skill in working with groups to build consensus
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Bachelor's degree or a related technical experience
Five to Seven years project management experience in an Information Technology environment
