Information Technology Specialist. (Job#121121). This full-time position will involve database design, user interface programming, and software troubleshooting for an internal application used to manage complex biological data. The position will involve all aspects of information technology support, such as maintenance of phone and server systems, for a biotechnology company consisting of approximately 30 scientists. Qualifications include knowledge of programming using C# and MS-SQL, database/SQL queries involving Access and VB6, and GUI. Candidates should have a B.S. in computer science or a related field, and must have at least one year of work or internship experience. Candidates should be able to operate independently in order to provide expertise and support in a primarily non-IT environment. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills in order to interface effectively with project teams.
