Virtustream is seeking an IT professional with experience implementing and troubleshooting unified communications to join its Internal Services team in either Atlanta or Bethesda. This person will share in the day to day responsibilities of the team in supporting the IT needs of its internal users but with an emphasis on AD and network management.
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for all internal network equipment in a multi-site environment across multiple continents. This person will also be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the unified communications solution. This person should be self-motivated and have strong customer service, communication, presentation, and time management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS:
Minimum Technical Skills:
Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills to independently troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing and supporting a multi-site complex network infrastructure including:
Switches and Routers
Firewalls and other network security devices
Specifically, strong experience with Cisco network equipment
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco QoS configuration in a voice and video environment.
Expertise with Windows Server architecture including deployment, hardening, troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance
Minimum of 3 years of experience using and supporting IT in an enterprise environment and experience managing internal and external Active Directory and LDAP membership directories
MCITP/MCSE certification preferred
Desired Technical Skills:
Ideal candidate will have 2 of more years of experience with unified communications and collaboration, specifically Microsoft Lync 2010 or Microsoft Lync 2013
Experience with support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange Server
Solid work ethic
Ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments and requirements
