The Position
Ever wonder about what it'd be like to build a Netflix or Hulu rival from the ground-up? We're doing it. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll take charge of our datacenters and content streaming infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
-- Build and maintain a high performance, high availability internet service capable of streaming video to millions of users
-- Provision, administer and maintain multiple data centers
-- Identify and develop tools to reduce operational costs
Requirements:
-- Experience working across multiple levels of software, hardware and networking stacks
-- Deep knowledge of internet protocols, services and standards
-- Deep Linux administration knowledge
-- Strong scripting skills
-- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and performance issues
-- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
-- US citizen or permanent resident
