Infrastructure Engineer Ping Identity
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate, motivated, self-starter to join the Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for maintaining the many facets of Ping Identity?s core infrastructure. This year, this department will be focused on automating system deployments using Puppet and Openstack technologies. We?ve been 100% virtualized for several years and we?re currently in the process of building out Infrastructure 2.0 using Devops methodologies. ? This team is responsible for the installation, support, and maintenance of all new and existing infrastructure hardware and software, including, but not limited to, networks, firewalls, virtualization platforms, data storage solutions, and telephony.
? We provide On-Call 24/7 support for infrastructure needs as they impact business stability and functionality. Current rotation is 1 week per month.
? We administer -nix and Windows environments including deploying, tracking, updating and patching, troubleshooting, and securing.
? We provide support of all physical equipment in our Data Center located in south Denver, as required.
? We work tickets and projects that represent infrastructure work and ?level 3? escalations from the internal support team.
The ideal Candidate:
Will have the proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas. Must be passionate about technology. Many on the team work past business hours of their own volition to learn new skills and work on projects because they enjoy it. We?re looking for like minded people interested in more than ?just a job?.
? Have 4 to 6+ years experience as a Windows/Linux systems administrator supporting enterprise-level commercial software agile development environments and third party applications.
? Be familiar with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
? Have In depth knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows and Ubuntu Servers.
? Advanced knowledge of Puppet, Chef, or similar automation tools is highly desirable. (Ruby)
