THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As an Infrastructure Security Engineer at Nitro you will be responsible for handling gigs of traffic, millions of documents/users and dealing with scale, maintenance and security around some of the most complex problems. You will work with a small elite team of experts and report to the Sr. Systems and Security Architect. You will help ensure that our infrastructure is designed and implemented to the highest security standards. You help protect network boundaries, keep computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data. In addition to owning security, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and scaling our platform and corporate network, building out new datacenters and distributing the load geographically. You will be working with hybrid cloud infrastructures, distributed switches, deep virtualization and may cutting edge technologies.
5+ years enterprise-scale security and networking experience on Cisco equipment and many other technologies.
Experience with Cisco ASA appliances, emphasis on multi-context firewall and IPS
Experience with securing routing protocols
Experience with network and application infrastructure components such as traditional network firewalls, application firewalls, content management systems, portal management, application servers, and multi-tiered architecture across demilitarized zones.
Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods.
Expert knowledge securing edge network devices (NLB, Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
Experience with Cryptography Algorithms
Expert knowledge of PKI (architecture and scale)
Strong working knowledge securing virtualization platforms (VMware and OpenStack preferred)
SAN-based storage usage (multi-path redundancy, Raw LUN attachments)
Strong working knowledge of securing Jenkins, Nexus and Git
Strong working knowledge hardening OS and applications
Ability to perform penetration testing (layer two - seven)
Ability to perform forensic and packet analysis
Demonstrated working knowledge with blade server systems, Cisco UCS preferred
Ability to implement preventive, mitigating controls to ensure an appropriate level of protection
Ability to configure and operate security focused monitoring, logging, and notification systems
Expert in at least one scripting language
CISSP, CCSP/CCNP, VCP and SAN certifications
Strong understanding of PCI and SOX compliance regulations
vShield/vCloud, EndPoint and DeepSecurity
Advance with route-maps, QoS/CoS/802.1p
Dreams about making the infrastructure more secure
Knows everything about Transmission Control Protocol and segment structures
Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSFP, EIGRP)
Hands on with Catalyst, Nexus, IDR and MDS switches, F5 BIG-IP
B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering required
