Job Description :
After receiving the proper training, the in-service trainer will visit our clients in their homes and teach how to properly use their glucose meter. This includes teaching them how to draw blood with minimum discomfort, calibrate the meter, replace the batteries and more. In addition, the in-service trainer will help our clients understand the proper regimen for good diabetes self-care.
JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (Listed in order of importance)
Trains clients on their new meters and testing supplies
Deliver supplies to client
Communicates with office regarding high/low readings or any blood-sugar concerns
Completes all necessary In-service paperwork
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
Knowledge / Education
High School graduation or GED
General knowledge of Diabetes
Job Experience
Customer service experience
1-2 years of experience in related position
Interaction with clients
Skills / Competencies
Bilingual skills a plus
Customer Service
Communication Skills
Drivers license
Clean Driving record
Ability to give clear and concise instructions
Physical Requirements
Carry 30 lbs
Able to stay in/ drive a car for over 8 hours a day
Assist Clients around their house during in-service
