Inside Channel Account Manager (ICAM)
The role of the Inside Channel Account Manager at Solera Networks is to provide sales and account management support to the domestic and international channel partner program. This role will involve collaboration with an outside sales team consisting of account executives, sales engineers, channel marketing, and the channel management team. Preferred location would be in South Jordan, Utah at company headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Provide inside support to reseller partners including sales personnel, marketing and technical sales staff
Work in conjunction with field and channel sales director to support channel partners recruitment, enablement, and marketing campaign efforts
Develop territory plan in collaboration with Channel Sales Director
Support reseller partner strategy and tactics within territory; includes quoting, collateral fulfillment, co-marketing events, training, Webinar, and joint-sales calls
Coordinate sales and technical training as required with reseller partners
Assist with reseller on-boarding process
Manage lead distribution
Regularly schedule updates, trainings, and call campaigns out to assigned partners
Provide effective product presentations and demonstrations to targeted customers and resellers
Develop pricing, product proposals, and assist in RFP responses w/ reseller partners
Participate in trade shows to support territory and company sales efforts when required
Capture all partner interaction data into Salesforce.com
Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and forecasts
Candidate Profile:
Able to work in a fast paced, start-up environment and operate independently
Experience in developing a new territory and reseller partner base
Excellent telephone and personality skills
Strong prospecting skills
Ability to work well with others and leverage resources when appropriate
Should be expert in CRM software solutions
Strong organization and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly energetic, flexible, self-starter
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
Should be honest, assertive and systematic
College degree or diploma
Technology-security/networking/forensics related experience
7+ years of inside sales; preferably within the high tech industry
