Overview:
The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is responsible for prospecting (calling) accounts in a specified region. Identify opportunities for assigned outside sales team members, and provide current and accurate information on sales opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop territory calling plan in partnership with outside regional sales director focused on the collection market and territory intelligence.
Develop and refine messaging approaches and tactics to target specific accounts for future sales closings.
Continuously work to move the sales pipeline forward through regular email and phone touches with territory prospects. Regularly engage with and communicate updates to regional sales directors for further in person account development.
Schedule qualified calls and in-person meetings for the appropriate regional sales director.
Establish customer and prospect initiative timelines, budgets and urgency and qualify immediate sales opportunities.
Partner with sales operations, regional sales operations, and support to provide information that assist in closing an opportunity.
Develop leads for industry trade shows.
Communicate with key accounts on a regular basis to investigate current status needs.
Provide weekly and monthly turnover reports.
Meet or exceed targeted calls per week requirement and aim to exceed qualified turnovers per month.
Protect the confidentiality of sensitive and/or proprietary company information.
Support and promote the Talyst values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
5+ years? experience preferred or equivalent experience
Previous inside enterprise sales experience required.
Demonstrated ability to cultivate accounts to close.
Ability to articulate and position Talyst solutions over the phone and the ability to improvise and deliver both verbal and written communication unscripted.
Tenacious drive to improve operational territory performance and to keep abreast of industry trends.
Prioritization, detail oriented and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to prioritize, and work on many tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and inter-dependently.
Experience leveraging shared resources and collaborate with scheduling to meet objectives.
Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
