We are looking for:
The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for client relationship management, attainment of sales objectives, client satisfaction and retention for new and existing accounts as assigned.
Inside Sales Account Manager position responsibilities include:
Develop and execute account and sales strategies that will enable Vertafore to achieve sales leadership across all business units.
Develop, maintain & nurture relationships with ?agency? customers.
Leverage existing executive client relationships to close additional sales ? users, migrations, professional services or additional solution offerings.
Build and maintain solid pipeline and prospect list.
Uses CCS sales methodology in all prospect/ customer contact.
Responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through on-going personal attention and by working closely with support functions to ensure smooth hand-offs for conversions, implementations, training, and client support.
Act as client advocate and escalate issues as necessary.
Ensure efficient management of territory and expenses.
Maintain the highest level of industry and product expertise.
Keep abreast of competitive activity and Vertafore advantages vs. competition.
Act as a leader/mentor to less experienced sales staff.

You respond to customer solution requests, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources
You document daily sales activities in Salesforce.com automation tool, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management.
You are an active team player both on the sales team and throughout to help meet company objectives.
You provide feedback from experience to internal cross-functional teams with regard to product, selling, competition and market dynamics.
You interact with sales, marketing and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS or equivalent experience
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers
Experience to selling to ?C? level Executives
Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
Experience in presenting a sales demonstration to client
Consultative, solution based sales methodology
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with Customer Centric Selling
Have worked in a Salesforce.com environment
Insurance industry experience/familiarity a bonus
Strong technical knowledge of Vertafore solutions, competition and the marketplace.
Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence.
Strong technical skills ? WEBEX, Word, Excel, MS Office, PowerPoint.
Self-motivated; ability to work independently yet is a team player
