Overview:
Responsibilities:
Inside Sales Associate is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing business opportunities in an assigned territory. Inside Sales Associate provides territory support and coverage for outside sales representatives.
The ISA will:
Develop new accounts by marketing company product lines and various services
Generate revenue from select contact database through cold calling and other sales techniques
Gain comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and market and how/where ModSpace fits and can grow
Manage leads received from corporate lead sources through the customer management system and data mine leads from alternate sources as necessary
Generate professional quotes and proposals as necessary
Identify, implement, record, and measure regular, continuous prospecting efforts throughout assigned territory to grow market share
Follow up with customers via telephone to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and resolve problems
Know product availability and readiness
Demonstrate a high level of communication and teamwork with operational and sales teammates
Perform campaign blitz as determined by managers
Obtain state licensing (where required)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A successful candidate:
Has a bachelor?s degree or a minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience
Is an enthusiastic, outgoing, detail oriented individual who has the ability to be flexible while working in a fast paced and changing environment
Has the ability to effectively work with multiple levels and across all functional areas within an organization
Has excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Has an exceptional ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity
Is PC proficient in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
Has a minimum of two years of outbound calling sales experience - preferred
Has business to business sales experience - preferred
Has experience using SalesForce.com - preferred
The Inside Sales Associate position is commissions and bonus eligible. Due to the territories that may be assigned to you, your work schedule may start and end anytime between 8 am and 8 pm ET Monday through Friday.
