About the Job
The Inside Sales Associate (ISA) is responsible for qualifying leads generated by our marketing activities in an assigned geographic territory. You?ll work with the Senior Manager of Inside Sales (your boss) to define and execute plans to achieve quarterly and annual team bookings quotas. You?ll also execute early aspects of the Echo360 sales cycle, mainly initial contact and qualification and building value before passing the qualified lead to the Inside Sales Team.
Responsibilities
Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns.
Call on higher education organizations across the US/Canada to identify potential clients and decision makers.
Contact, qualify and document new sales opportunities based on our qualification criteria.
Enter leads into the database and pass qualified leads to the sales team who will continue and close the sales process.
Work with the Senior Manager of Inside Sales to establish telephone sales campaigns.
Qualify leads from trade shows, events, mailers, and other activities
Maintain detailed records of all activities in CRM System (salesforce.com).
Provide regular updates to the Senior Manager of Inside Sales about results of your efforts.
Master and effectively deliver all basic Echo360 sales messages, product information and competitive positioning materials.
Research organizational structures and identify new target contacts for Echo360.
Prospect though telephone efforts into higher education institutions.
About You
You have a ?hunting? view of the world, with a proven track record of consistently reaching or exceeding goals.
You?re a superior communicator (both oral and written) and have the confidence to speak with high-level executives about our blended learning solutions.
You?re a team player and collaborator who knows how to overcome objections and effectively articulate Echo360?s value proposition.
You have a Bachelor?s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience selling, primarily inside sales.
You?re a natural salesperson with exceptional telephone-based sales and organizational skills.
You?re a well-organized self-starter who can handle multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
You?re familiar with using CRM or contact management software, preferably Salesforce.com.
You?re okay with travelling at least 10% of the time for on-site customer visits, events and tradeshows.
