Inside Sales Associate Xamarin

What we are looking for:
This is a quota-bearing inside sales role. You will engage with existing and potential customers to help them as they evaluate mobile platforms. Inside sales or customer support experience handling technical products is ideal, but if you have not worked in a customer-facing role before, we will teach you everything you need to be successful.
A Day in the Life:
Hundreds of developers download Xamarin every day. Your job is to work with any developers who have questions, understand their requirements, and ensure that they are successful on our platform. Xamarin already has more than 10,000 paying customers, and you will be engaging with them to ensure they have everything they need to build great mobile apps.
Furthermore, you will be our customers? voice within the Xamarin organization; it is Xamarin's vision to build the best possible developer platform, and it will be your role to find out what customers need from us in order to be more successful. If you enjoy helping other people succeed, and like engaging with customers, this is a great chance to move into a customer-facing role, and we will give you access to technical resources (including our CEO) to ensure that you have the knowledge and ammunition to be successful.
What you should bring to this role:
Optimistic, positive attitude and social personality.
Excellent written communications and phone skills.
A drive to succeed and overachieve your monthly or quarterly quota.
An understanding of interpersonal relationships and an ability to build long-lasting relationships.
An understanding of what makes people tick.
Strong interest in technology.
Appreciation of other cultures.
Prior experience working with developer products and high-level understanding of mobile development and developer platforms is a plus.
Four year university degree required.

This opportunity is paid as salary plus commission, and you will be measured by revenue generation. Xamarin will support you in any way possible to make sure that you are always successful in this role.
