Inside Sales BestTransport
Position Overview:
Manage all daily activities of marketing and lead generation. Ability to effectively communicate the BestTransport value proposition, prospect for new opportunities and build a pipeline. Candidate will have experience with 3PL or Broker sales.
Supervisors: None
Essential Functions:
Prospecting via phone and internet. Conducting discovery and qualifying prospects
Identifying new opportunities
Develop referrals
Work with other BestTransport departments to develop proposals, and implementation action plans.
Assist with logistics issues after the sale
Ability to close customer sales
Ability to work with and coordinate sales with outside sales executives
Report sales events with the BestTransport CRM and manage a sales pipeline
Other duties as assigned
Prerequisite Experience:
High school graduate, 2 or 4 year college graduate preferred.
Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge.Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail and strategic orientated.
Aggressive, competitive, resilient attitude.
3-5 years previous job experience with a demonstrated track record of capturing new business in the 3PL and/or Brokerage sector.
Working knowledge of the transportation industry, specifically the van, flatbed and LTL markets.
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit at desk to do computer work.
High energy level comfortable with performing multiple projects and activities during a day.
