The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and qualifying sales of Systech products and services to customers and business partners over the phone and providing administrative sales support to the Systech sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. This includes telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive contact of existing clients and partners
Understand customer?s application, overall objectives and requirements to propose the best solution for the application ? obtain samples for evaluation
Collect information on customer?s unfulfilled needs and potential product/services improvements
Establish forecasts and maintain current customer and prospective account records and provide reports on accounts and sales activity as directed by management through company CRM system
Participates in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products and services.
Keep current on company?s product and solutions, and industry trends.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Support Sales team with quote process, pre-qual, NOC?s, and sales analysis
Liaison with OEM?s, updating and maintaining contracts, manage Corporate Agreements
Back up for Sales Data and order entry, maintaining and updating spreadsheets
Schedule and handle various administrative duties including sales coordination, maintaining files and agreements, and preparation of monthly reports.
Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications
Verifies discrepancies and makes corrections
Superior phone presence and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and negotiating skills
Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally in a team and highly dynamic environment with minimal supervision
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
2 years of Sales and/or administrative sales support experience
Bachelor?s degree or Associates degree (A.A.) and 1-2 years equivalent experience
Sales experience of technical products in B2B environment a plus
Must have working knowledge and experience using e-mail, Internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Familiarity with CRM databases and Macola a plus
