In bringing the Gilt brand to the lifestyle industry, Gilt City is looking to hire an Inside Sales Curator with a taste level to match! Having experience with local market sales, national vendors and luxury lifestyle offerings, this individual will develop strategic partnerships with our vendors and will also collaborate with all departments to help exceed revenue goals.
The ideal candidate has proven success in sales with a terrific reputation for over-achieving quota while focusing on the customer. S/he can easily adapt to an energetic, fast-paced start up environment. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace and demonstrate an inherent creative ability to identify unique, coveted experiences. S/he will have a successful track record of driving top sales results, partnering cross-functionally, and communicating strategic client needs to the organization.
Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management
Canvas and cold-call into various types of local businesses with evidence of consistent and current success.
Prospect and develop leads through outreach across multiple markets and various categories (i.e. spa, restaurant, fitness, retail, entertainment, etc.)
Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline; build and cultivate lucrative relationships on an ongoing basis
Evangelize and inspire the local markets to work with Gilt City
Identify and close new and creative businesses to be featured, expanding the range of offers for our members
Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy
Close sales and drive bottom-line revenue
3+ years in Sales and/or Marketing
3+ years in working on local service offerings
Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
Ability to analyze quantitatively, dive deep into the details, and problem-solve
Passion for fine food, wines, arts, culture and city life
Ability to work in a start-up environment
Proven track record of exceeding goals
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
