Inside Sales Developer Factual
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Factual is looking for an Inside Sales Developer to be based in it?s Los Angeles headquarters.
Identify and initiate conversations with publisher & developer prospects for our unique suite of data offerings.
Maintain sales target lists and find contact info for key people within orgs; regular outreach as well as follow-up on incoming leads.
Provide customer support and regular account maintenance/communications.
Develop successful business relationships within mobile app community.
Deliver articulate, effective phone presentations/demos with technical content and occasional in-person meetings.
Negotiate licensing deals and data exchanges at all points of the sales cycle: initial calls/presos to proposals to contract discussions.
Gather feedback that will inform Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales decisions.
Provide weekly updates/metrics on developer acquisition and retention efforts.
Aid in production of sales collateral.
Proven track record of closing a pipeline of deals, and hitting established quarterly sales targets.
1-2 years of experience in inside sales, business development, account management -- selling software and/or information services to web-based companies.
Passion for building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
Stand-out communication skills; clearly explain ideas to different people with different viewpoints.
Keen interest in mobile apps space and/or local space.
Able to hit the ground running (while learning on the job); be methodical and organized; able to manage multiple opportunities, projects and priorities concurrently.
A bias towards action and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and constantly changing start-up environment.
An established rolodex of developer contacts, especially in the geo/local space.
Have built web or mobile apps before with understanding of various development platforms, APIs, and web services (Facebook, Android, iPhone, Google AppEngine, AWS).
Experience with developing sales lists and cold-calling.
