Inside - Sales Development Representative IJet Intelligent Risk Systems
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating buying demand for iJET?s products. The position will identify and qualify leads for the sales functions, based on product interest of the identified prospects.
A typical workday will be comprised of generating and qualifying leads through a variety of sales development strategies, including targeted emails and outgoing phone calls to prospects and lists generated through marketing channels and internet resources through individual research. It is expected that 60 calls a day will be made to qualify potential prospects once identified and to establish sales call appointments for the company?s Inside Sales and Direct Sales professionals.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to effectively communicate iJET?s core values and market proposition and who can set the stage for the inside and field sales teams to build a trusted relationship with prospects.
Prospect into multiple organizations via cold calling, email and emarketing, utilizing Internet information sources ? 60 calls per day
Following up on in-bound web leads
Create and maintain a trusted relationship with prospects and clients
Maintain up-to-date information in Salesforce.com database
Effectively articulate iJET?s value proposition to potential buyers and accurately assess need and interest
Achieve or exceed monthly call and appointment-setting goals
Be knowledgeable on iJET?s products and services and be prepared to discuss in greater detail or provide product demos (webex) when required
Associates Degree minimum/BA or BS desired
2+ years? experience in inside sales, selling into corporations
Share our mindset that the customer comes first and that total customer satisfaction is the key to success
Strong work ethic coupled with an ability to generate a high level of activity leading to closed deals
Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, client needs assessment and cold calling
Strong organizational skills, quick responsiveness, and act with a sense of urgency
Create a positive impression through personal interaction over phone, email, and in person
Interest in learning new things and the ability to get along with a diverse team
Goal oriented; works diligently towards those goals
Possess a track-record of achieving measurable goals, including results in cold calling and appointment setting
Ability to travel from time to time
Experience using a CRM system
Hands on experience with Salesforce.com a plus
Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Collaborative atmosphere with a majority of work hours spent in the office on the phone.
