We are seeking the best and brightest Inside Sales Development Representative within our marketing organization to help us reach our growth goals. You will work with both partners and customers to help them through their buying cycle for a variety of IT infrastructure solutions, including cloud technology. We are seeking a few dynamic, self-motivated inside sales professionals with outstanding interpersonal skills and approximately three (3) years IT sales or customer service experience (cloud or related technology experience strongly preferred). A successful candidate will have the ability to uncover new sales opportunities as well as work with channel partners to qualify, nurture and traffic leads through the early stages of the buying cycle. It is key that you are able to work well independently and as a team player with the marketing and sales team. Success in this position is a step towards sales executive, sales engineer or account management positions within Peak 10.
Aggressively identify and qualify new business opportunities, rapidly responding to inbound inquiries from targeted outbound campaigns utilizing telephone, e-mail and the web.
Monitor leads through marketing automation system and document sales actions in CRM automation system. Pass along marketing qualified leads (MQL) to sales force in a timely manner and ensure follow up.
Ensure data is captured, updated and managed in critical sales systems to maintain data quality throughout the lifecycle of the customer.
Capture and communicate analytics to marketing leadership about lead development activities
Work with management to communicate sales activity, competitive information and customer feedback.
Drive lead nurturing activities with prospects after events, webinars, etc.
Move customer prospects and potential new partners through the sales process as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Appropriately score leads to ensure higher close rate by field sales reps.
May be responsible for closing smaller deals directly where applicable.
Regular communication and contact with sales reps in the field to ensure prospects are appropriately handled through the remaining buying cycle.
Time and prospect management
Bachelor?s degree in computer science, engineering, business or similar field of study preferred.
3 years? experience in a customer service, IT support or sales support role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in demand generation and marketing campaign management a plus.
Sales training a plus
Proven propensity to learn new technologies and their application to meet business needs.
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email and CRM skills. Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) a plus.
A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development within an organization;
Knowledge of interpersonal interaction techniques and an understanding of when to employ different techniques depending on the situation.
Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
