Inside Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
Provide technical consulting for designing solutions to meet customers' business and technical requirements
Provide pre and post sales support for Inside Sales team.
Participate in discovery calls with Sales team and articulate solutions that fit the customer requirements
Identify customers? technical pains and needs in order target a specific solution selling strategy
Help Sales Teams increase sales by providing technical consulting (e.g. designs, customer trials, demos, building software samples, etc.)
Understand the client/prospects needs, and ease any concerns a prospect may have
Build relationships with key decision makers
Assist in RFI/RFP responses from a technical capacity
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years Inside Sales Engineer experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Web Content Management experience as a .NET developer beneficial
Solid understanding of the Microsoft .NET framework and .NET project types
Demonstrated ability to define customer requirements and deliver results exceeding those requirements
Experience in meeting with customers and understanding their current technical environment, key business issues/drivers, and technology requirements
Must understand and be responsive to customer needs, work under tight deadlines, quickly learn new technologies, and work independently
Highly motivated with excellent work ethic, energy and a team attitude.
Solid understanding of backend database technologies specifically MSSQL2005
Solid understanding of Object Orientated Programming (OOP), XML and XSLT.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Basic Salesforce.com Knowledge helpful
Experience creating and consuming web services beneficial
