Rave is searching for a self-driven Inside Sales Executive to be responsible for the acquisition of new customers in a list-driven territory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of having transformed outbound prospecting into revenue through an end-to-end sales process.
Responsibilities will include:
Outbound prospecting to targeted accounts in Higher Education through phone calls
Phone work, online web demos, and proposal development on a weekly basis to build pipeline and close deals
Conduct in-depth product presentations and basic technical demonstrations through online web demos
Become thoroughly conversant in Rave's products to solve customers' needs
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to bridge customers' needs with Rave's products
Maintain information for prospects and customers in Salesforce.com
Partner effectively with Channel Partners to drive territory coverage and maintain positive distributor relationships
Some travel may be required
Skills and experience required:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Experience selling SaaS based products is desired
Experience in Higher Education sales is desired
Experience selling to Public Safety is desired
3-5 years' experience in software sales in a fast-growth enterprise software environment
Strong outbound prospecting and closing skills by use of phone and web
Self-starter who is strongly motivated and able to see things through to completion
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to sell products through relationship-based sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with Salesforce CRM is desired
Performance-driven, with an appreciation for metrics and related analyses that drive sales accountability
Position will be measured and compensated based on new customer acquisition
Compensation package commensurate with experience.
