Liaison Healthcare Informatics solutions provide integration and data management services on premise or in the cloud targeting providers, payers, life sciences (pharmaceutical and bio-technology) and health information exchange (HIE/RHIO) organizations.

We are seeking results-driven sales professionals to join our inside sales and lead generation team targeting healthcare and life sciences organizations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with extensive experience in quality lead generation and pipeline building. The candidate must possess superior communication skills, problem solving/analytical capabilities and presentation skills, while being a competent writer and a person that can think "out of the box" strategically and tactically.
The ISE will generate leads and will then cold call potential clients. The goal of the ISE position is to identify prospective clients, schedule sales calls and identify sales opportunities. This position is characterized by a sustained record of sales achievement and comprehensive knowledge of the life sciences marketplace.
Responsibilities
Consistently increase revenue using various tools and methods, including cold calling, prospecting and other sales resources to schedule appointments
Reliably forecast business on a monthly and quarterly basis to accurately predict revenue goals and build a consistent pipeline
Manage and prioritize sales leads and direct prospects through a series of questions to further qualify and competitively position Liaison?s solutions
Develop and build a pipeline of new business opportunities by using specific methods for territory development that includes cold calling and strategic research
Submit reports of sales activities
Develop existing Liaison customers into new business opportunities by cross-selling and up-selling
Learn the key features and benefits of Liaison?s products and service offerings
Maintain level of key metrics to meet minimum activity requirements (call volume) on a consistent basis from the Salesforce.com customer relationship management database
Schedule appointments for the outside sales team, briefing Account Executive 1:1 about opportunity, value, timeline, etc.
Maintain the sales database (Salesforce.com) including setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking and pipeline development efforts
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in consultative sales to the healthcare and/or life sciences market
Proven track record of exceeding quota and business goals
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections
Persistent sales professional with extensive cold-calling experience
Quick learner with demonstrated sales ability
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
High-energy and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment
Discipline, maturity and professionalism
Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
College degree in Sales/Marketing, Business or related field preferred
