A Lumension Inside Sales Representative/Software Telesales is assigned a regional territory within a team selling model. This role is a traditional inside sales role where the candidate must have the skills to manage existing accounts, expand product lines in existing accounts, and strong emphasis (and compensation) tied to new account acquisition and revenue. There will be little to no travel required; however there may be opportunities to visit customers/prospects in the field under the right circumstances.
Self motivated and capable of working independently with minimal direction.
Strong organizational and planning skills are a must.
Generate sales leads through various sources such as industry lists, Internet, cold calls, etc.
Time management skills are a must leveraging the CRM tools provided.
Report weekly sales results and forecast.
Successfully complete Lumension Sales Training program.
Work closely with Outside Regional Sales Manager and Sales Engineer in assigned territory in order to drive sales via direct, channel, and OEM partners to meet team quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Set up and perform online presentations in order to demonstrate the value proposition of Lumension solutions. This will required some level of technical aptitude to understand the IT solutions we provide.
Coordinate Proof of Concepts in order to demonstrate the value proposition of Lumension solutions.
Develop Quarterly Business Strategy and Sales Commitment reports within team structure.
A BA/BS in business administration / technology or equivalent experience.
5-7 years experience in selling software or other IT solutions via phone.
Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within software/internet field.
IT Security knowledge is a huge plus.
