Vox Mobile, headquartered in Independence, Ohio, will add an Inside Sales Manager to its growing team of professionals. Vox has 140 employees and is aggressively continuing its employee growth. The Inside Sales Manager will lead an existing and expanding sales team. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the Inside Sales team and lead generation process.
The manager will be responsible for establishing, organizing, and managing processes, workloads and staff for the Inside Sales group, always working towards the achievement of sales quotas and other metrics. Working with other leaders in the organization, they will provide strategic direction around optimizing the role of the Inside Sales Representative.
Understanding the overall business and sales objectives of the organization, the Inside Sales Manager will drive performance by effectively managing the sales team toward meeting and/or exceeding monthly objectives. Working side by side with the team, the manager will develop, train and motivate existing and new team members.
The selected candidate must have strong leadership, people management and team building skills. Previous sales and supervisory experience is required. Industry experience is preferred.
Drive the activities of all sales team members in a manner that increases brand awareness, service presence, and revenue generation for all Vox Mobile service offerings, ensuring that all team members meet their sales quota
Track and monitor sales leads; observing lead progression and advancement through the sales process from initiation to close.
Partner with marketing to develop initiatives to maintain a constant flow of quality sales leads for the team
Collect data, analyze information and develop action plans for the Inside Sales Reps to increase performance, skills and overall productivity
Coach and train inside sales reps in both individual and team settings
Communicate regularly with all levels of sales employees for updates on their activities.
Lead team meetings and facilitate activities and training
Monitor sales data on an ongoing basis
Work with HR to build and maintain a solid Inside Sales team
Extract reports and possesses an understanding of the numbers; automate numbers through NetSuite database.
Communicate with Marketing the trends and issues pertaining to Sales/Marketing initiatives.
Coordinate sales events including planning and scheduling, identification of attendees to meet, and completion of portfolio reviews.
Provide guidance to the team when responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP) around market conditions, pricing issues, and the current competition on the program.
Essential Skills and Experience
Prior inside sales experience, preferably in a business to business setting
Strong leadership and people management skills
Three to Five years supervisory management experience
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or related field
Demonstrated ability to sell and initiate programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet schedules and deadlines
Experienced in sales data collection and analysis.
Ability to build rapport quickly and is insightful to the work styles of other employees and their needs.
Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
Process-oriented and effective at creating and implementing process improvements
Assertive with sharing ideas
Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands
Experience with NetSuite, or other financial ERP system, or other database systems helpful
