Inside Sales Manager Iron Planet

Position Summary:

This fast paced position requires heavy phone volume, including outbound and inbound sales calls, providing customers with information about equipment as well as our company and our auctions. Enter all communication into customer database.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Make 80-100 outbound and inbound calls per day
Increase lift in Featured Auction
Meet Daily Marketplace sales goals for the month/year
Generate new and repeat sales by providing excellent customer service and knowledge of website
Increase sales by cross-selling
Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of company
Effectively maintain sales and customer database
Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Perform other duties assigned

Education and Experience Required:

Prior experience in telesales or sales required
3-5 years experience in telesales or sales in the construction equipment field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bilingual in English/Spanish written and verbal required
Detail oriented, excellent verbal communications skills, and work well under pressure
Quick learner, ability to multi-task and act with sense of urgency
Must enjoy selling
Strong teamwork skills
Problem solving/analytical skills
Advanced Word and Excel skills
Excellent Organization skills

Physical Requirements:

Near constant phone use, with or without a headset
Near constant computer use of instant message software, email and internal databases
