We are seeking a self-motivated and hard-working Inside Sales Manager for our Santa Clara office.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Netformx runs a highly successful Inside Sales program. We have increased the size of the program 50% over the last 12 months and will grow it 50% again in 2012. Our model is to attract motivated and talented people with modest sales experience and provide a training bed and opportunity to sell, excel, and advance careers. Our inside salespeople work deals from lead follow-up to close, working a combination of new opportunities, upsell opportunities, and renewal deals.
As we scale the Inside Sales function and grow as a company, we seek an experienced manager to take the Inside Sales program to the next level. We want to build on our strong track record of achievement while developing the skills to prospect in new accounts and to upsell in existing accounts more effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a minimum of 5-8 years total experience, with at least 3-5 years of inside sales experience and a minimum of 2-3 years in inside sales management. You will need to have a broad range of inside sales experience in sales to both new and existing accounts, as well as enough executive-level selling experience to serve as a mentor to aspiring account executives.
A strong candidate will have prior experience in a technical account management, sales engineering, consulting services sales, or other technical customer-facing role.
Experience in the software industry in an inside sales capacity, selling complex solutions.
Demonstrated track record of consistently overachieving sales targets as both an individual contributor and manager.
Account management skills and experience with solution selling.
Ability to assess and qualify potential sales opportunities.
Experience matching product and service solutions to customers? needs.
Management experience and effective coaching/mentoring skills required.
Exceptional customer interaction and selling skills required.
Strong oral and written communication skills a must.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge of the information, communications, and technology fields (especially networking and server/storage solutions) considered a plus.
