Once deal registration submittal is deemed clean, a call to the partner is made to verify details and discuss partner to customer interaction, source of deal and other possible items. Certain activities in Salesforce.com are then administered before the deal registration is sent to the receiving sales representative (inside or outside).
Each request for assistance from a Major Account Manager is prioritized for completion on the basis of revenue acquisition, customer relationship building and other forms of determining timing requirement. These items may include:
Hardware quoting for Major Account Managers
Research on contacts for targeted companies
Order tracking for Major Account customers
Procedure research for Major Account Managers
Product return assistance for Major Account customers
RFP/RFI response building
Evaluation Unit Requests
Seed Unit Requests
Information gathering for International opportunities
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Experience in CRM system (Salesforce.com highly preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent time management discipline
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Be able to foster relationships with key procurement personnel at distributors or direct resellers
- Provide excellent customer service while following up on order status, purchase order corrections or issues, etc.
- Willingness to work extended hours depending on month-end or quarter-end workload.
- Desire to be put into a career development pathway for a future role in sales
- Possible differentiated shifts available to accommodate global deal registration flow
- The positions are located in Plano, TX and will report into the Senior Program Manager, Global Inside Sales
- The position will have direct interaction with channel partners, customers, sales professionals, channel selling team and sales operations
