Smarterer is seeking a talented rep to sell our newly-launched skills-assessment product, SkillSets. SkillSets helps recruiters and hiring managers hire smarter by easily identifying the most skilled candidates. This is a high profile position for an assertive individual who wants to fast-track their sales career. You should be able to hit the ground running and produce immediate results.
The right individual will love everything about selling - prospecting, calls, presenting value, and closing. You?re pioneering - you love to strike out into uncharted territory in pursuit of a huge reward. And you love working in a startup environment where everything moves quickly.
Here's what you'll do day to day:
Manage a high volume of outbound calls to free trial accounts and warm prospects to uncover sales opportunities.
Navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process.
Develop expertise in presenting the Smarterer SkillSets value proposition.
Consistently close sales at or above quotas.
Work closely with the marketing and product teams to sell new product enhancements and communicate learnings.
A few Must-Haves:
You?ve got "hustle" - passion, commitment, and work ethic to do what it takes to succeed.
2-4 years experience in inside sales, selling SaaS/web technology in a B2B environment.
Strong prospecting and closing skills.
You know how to forecast and manage a pipeline.
Strong software skills (MS Office, Google Docs, Excel). HubSpot is a plus
Commitment to perform the daily activities that drive success in sales (prospecting, making calls, keeping CRM systems updated, sending follow-ups, etc.)
You?re articulate and write very well.
You're exceptionally bright and extremely goal-oriented
You?ve worked in a startup so you understand the urgency required.
You're enthusiastic, positive, and a lot of fun to work with!
