Description:
This position will be responsible for the following sales related activities:
- Cold calling to generate qualified sales leads and opportunities
- Assisting outside sales reps w/ managing/follow up on prospects on trial or other sales activities as needed
- Responding to inbound leads, qualifying those leads and determining a lead score
- Following up and converting leads to a new account that have been designated to be solely handled by inside sales
- Understanding products and services
- Connected socially
- Understanding industry trends, issues and competitors
- Reporting sales and lead generation activity
Essential Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in sales or sales support
- Familiarity w/ Salesforce or other sales lead tracking software
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow up
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly self-motivated and deal oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Utilizing social media today personally (ie Facebook profile, Twitter handle, on Linked In).
