Skyhook is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Inside Sales person with a passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities. This is an amazing opportunity to join a leading mobile location technology company uniquely positioned right in the middle of the exploding app-driven economy. In this role, you will contribute to the growth of Skyhook's business by working with enterprise customers and application developers to drive the expansion of Skyhook's location technology and location intelligence solutions.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the mobile application space along with familiarity of mobile on-line analytics, and advertising networks. Additionally, experience selling software or services to Original Equipment Manufacturers is desired. This role requires excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities and a very strong competitive spirit.
Manage client relationships with enterprise customers and application developers
Develop awareness and drive new business by promoting our location intelligence solutions to Ad Agencies, Ad Networks, brands and developers
Prospect business opportunities with new and existing clients
Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of Skyhook's solutions and be able to position them effectively
Negotiate and close agreements with Clients
Support new Customers through our on-boarding process
Exceed quarterly objectives
1-2 years of experience preferred with an emphasis on consumer web or mobile services/li>
Proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships, with an emphasis on up-selling additional services
A track record of success in managing a sales plan
Experience determining customer requirements and presenting marketing solutions
Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
