We are seeking a hard working individual to develop Zipcar for Business revenue by managing a lead generation and sales effort in a local market primarily by phone and internet communication. You will be expected to prospect and develop new customer leads, introduce the Zipcar for business service, and close business on a monthly basis. In doing so, you will call into prospective customers, build relationships with management and lines of business groups and qualify any business pain associated with the costs of employee transportation. Once relevant plan is identified, the sales representative will work with the prospect to fully qualify the customer needs and map the Zipcar service, resulting in a closed transaction.

Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a territory plan.
Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around the use of B2B messaging.
Accelerate customer adoption.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
Ensure customer satisfaction.
2 ? 5 years of related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience.
Four year college degree in related field required, advanced degree, a plus.
Must have at least one year of telemarketing, inside telephone sales, or B2B sales in a metric driven environment with verifiable results.
Proven track record in solution selling to small ?medium sized businesses over the phone.
Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue
Ability to identify, prioritize and focus on critical tasks. Work independently as a self starter, motivated member of local business team
Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of using databases for managing contacts and overall CRM activities and assessing performance of the business.
Persuasive, confident oral communicator. Have excellent communication skills and a contagious positive attitude.
Has the ability to write effective, clear communication.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
