Responsible for sales of professional and/or technical services tailored exclusively to the consulting and project evaluation.
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all or most areas listed above that allows Sales Representative to give effective presentations of the company?s services.
Develops annual business plan focused on sales quota in conjunction with Executive Management, which details activities to follow monthly and quarterly during the fiscal year.
Demonstrate ability to carry on a sales?focused business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to address their business issues.
Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and assists/leads quotes and proposal responses that identify prospects? business problems, the effects of the problems, and the company?s solutions to their problems.
Leverage existing industry knowledge to establish relationships with senior level executives and key decision makers in target accounts.
Identify, develop and maintain high visibility with major customers and vendor/alliance partners to maximize revenue.
Communicate crucial market, trade and competitive information to Executive Management.
Demonstrate the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects.
Qualify leads through research, networking events, conferences, referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners and partners, direct mail, email, and networking.
Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including: sales calls, meetings, presentations, closed sales, and follow?up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of a customer relationship management system to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
3?5 years of experience in sales in the consulting industry, nonprofit, and small business industries experience.
Proven success at developing new business and maintaining existing customer base.
Ability to establish and cultivate matrix sales relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
In?depth market knowledge and understanding of industry.
In?depth understanding of competitive companies, services/products and their strategies both regional and national.
Ability to thrive in a highly independent environment.
Strong ability to handle multiple activities and set priorities for assigned responsibilities that impacts the business regionally and nationally.
Advanced negotiation skills.
Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
