Inside Sales Representative Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for meeting sales targets with their assigned accounts. This is a sales position, rather than a lead generation or outside sales support. Our inside sales team sells a business reporting solution to small and medium sized consumer goods companies. The Retail Solutions Inside Sales Team resides in Deerfield, north of Chicago and all members of the team will work exclusively from the office.
This opportunity is located in Chicago, IL.
Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of related experience.
Sales driven and highly competitive ? must meet and exceed assigned sales goals for each quarter and year
Develop a pipeline of business
Follow up on leads generated my marketing
Create opportunities via calling into potential accounts
Manage the assigned accounts with a view to customer satisfaction and repeat sales
Be able to speak knowledgably with respect to the products
Use Salesforce.com in day-to-day work with leads, opportunities and accounts
Either currently employed, or have worked in Inside Sales, for a minimum of 1-2 years
Have sold software or other technology product or service
A consistent track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales quota and goals
Had complete responsibility for the sale of a product
Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
Experience generating opportunities from cold-calling
Good oral presentation skills
Skills with all Microsoft Office products
