SilkRoad is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to identify and contact prospective clients, including cold-calling, to generate leads for the Sales Team. The individual can be based out of the Chicago or Winston-Salem, NC areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Documenting prospecting activities and providing accurate forecasts and reports;
Presenting human capital technical solutions to prospective clients;
Providing general sales support to outside sales partners;
Collaborating with subject matter experts throughout the sales process;
Delivering excellent customer services.
Ambitious and sets high personal goals to achieve excellence;
High level of competitiveness, accepts challenges to be a top producer;
Persuasive, capable of building a good case to prospective clients;
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with prospective and existing customers;
Organized, detail and task oriented; excellent follow-up skills;
Computer software literate; experience with MS Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel, and SalesForce.com;
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills - Proven problem solving and solution selling skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Minimum of 1 year of Inside Sales experience for software products and/or services;
Experience in uncovering opportunities, building and managing a consistent pipeline and closing direct sales opportunities;
Experience in prospecting and sales lead generation;
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota.
Previous experience managing the entire sales cycle.
