Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating net new opportunities for Vendavo's European market through creative, assertive, and diligent lead generation tactics.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Drives net new prospect lead generation with C-level executives in mid-market and enterprise companies
- Uses creative and well-researched lead generation tactics: cold calling, VITO letters, content marketing, nurture programs
- Maintains a nurture cadence for early stage prospects through electronic, phone, and other nurture programs
- Experience generating qualified leads in B2B mid-market and enterprise companies
- Experience generating qualified leads for companies like Vendavo, who sell enterprise software solutions
- Well-versed in how to research prospective client companies (Linkedin, Hoovers, Onesource, etc.) to identify potential sales opportunities and potential buying influences
- Conducts external market research (prospect websites, annual reports, industry information, etc.) to identify potential leads and opportunities
- Articulate, well-spoken, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Use of CRM system (like salesforce.com) to create and track lead generation activities
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Bachelor's degree required. Education and/or experience in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations or related field
- Experience in software sales related positions
- 3+ years' experience setting appointments with large, B2B companies
- Must have experience calling into senior level executives
- Self-starter with experience in cold calling, lead management and relationship building
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional track record of quota and goal achievement
- Demonstrated experience in creating successful lead generation campaigns
- Accustomed to working in a sales environment where 1 lead generation expert supports 4 to 5 sales account executives
Fluent in German, English, and preferably one other European language (Nordics languages)
