First Funder is a crowdfunding startup based in Boulder, Colorado. First Funder partners with entrepreneurship programs and community organizations in order to ensure the highest quality opportunities for crowdfunding investments. Today First Funder is seeking an exceptional Inside Sales Representative to add to our team. If you are a highly motivated, self-starting, sales professional with a strong work ethic, and are looking to join a winning team, we have a home for you. We offer an excellent compensation package consisting of a base salary, based on experience, plus goal-based commissions and an equity participation plan.
Duties:
In this position, you will be required to:
--Expand First Funder's national partner network by developing new accounts through prospecting, networking, cold-calling and referrals
--Follow-up on leads
--Conduct proactive outgoing sales calls
--Use email campaigns to generate interest
--Communicate the status of sales and customer concerns to management on a daily basis
--Maintain and enhance industry, product, and technical knowledge in the crowdfunding industry
Qualifications:
Requirements:
--At least 2 years of sales experience with a significant track record of obtaining and exceeding sales goals, and/or
--A combination of comparable education/sales experience
--A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business
--Inside sales experience in SAAS platform sales preferred, but not required
--Experience selling to universities and/or non-profits preferred, but not required
--Experience using SalesForce and Constant Contact software
--Strong writing and communication skills
--Outstanding customer focus
--A positive attitude and are a team player
