Inside Sales Representative
The role of the Inside Sales Representative at Solera Networks is to provide sales and support to an assigned territory. This role may involve collaboration with an outside sales team consisting of a Regional Sales Manager and Sales Engineer. Preferred location is Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities:
Manage all inbound sales call/lead inquiries and qualify through the Solera opportunity pre-qualification process
Work in conjunction with field and corporate RSM and SE resources to close opportunities through presentations and demonstrations
Develop territory plan to support end-user and reseller sales opportunity with goal of exceeding quota
Identify, develop and lead reseller partner strategy and tactics within territory; includes co-marketing events, training, Webinar, and joint-sales calls
Grow territory pipeline to exceed quota by 3x-4x
Provide effective product presentations and demonstrations to targeted customers and resellers
Develop pricing, product proposals, and assist in RFP responses
Participate in trade shows to support territory and company sales efforts
Work to develop territory plan that exceeds a quarterly and annual revenue number
Capturing all customer interaction data into Salesforce.com
Provide accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts
Skills and background:
Able to work in a fast paced, start-up environment and operate independently
10+ years of successful inside sales and support experience
Experience in developing a new territory and reseller partner base
Excellent telephone and personality skills
Ability to work well with others and leverage resources when appropriate
Should be expert in CRM software solutions
Prominent organization and presentation skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly energetic, flexible, self-starter
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
Should be honest, assertive and systematic
College degree or diploma
Technology-security/networking/forensics related experience
10+ years of inside sales; preferably within the high tech industry
